Store problems?

Some of you are reporting problems accessing the Atarashi Games store. Apparently some people have been getting a 404 error when clicking links to the store,  and it appears this has been going on for awhile. Obviously it’s not a problem for everyone (since we’ve been filling orders all month) but we’re looking into it anyway. Looks like this may be a good excuse to finally redesign the site.

If you’re having trouble accessing the store and would like to place an order you can send payment directly to us via paypal through the email address jake@atarashigames.com. Make sure to tell us what your ordering and provide us with a mailing address!

Uniform Contest winner Gloria Weber

As mentioned previously, Gloria Webers stylish design won our uniform contest.

I wasn’t sure if this was the same Gloria Weber who wrote Gaslight Demons (which I’ve been hearing a lot about since it was released a few months back), but it turns out she is! Awesome! Gaslight Demons is… well, I’ll just clip a bit from the Morbid Games site, since I haven’t read the book yet:

Uniform Contest Winner!

The Atarashi Games Uniform Design Contest is over. Matt and I really appreciate everyone who entered. Every single design we received had something neat going on, and it’s been a lot of fun trying to decide which one we were going to use.

Choosing a winner wasn’t easy, but we went ahead and decided on Gloria Weber’s stylish and slightly futuristic design. We like this design because both the boys and girls versions manage to look classy and dignified while still being a little sexy. Of course,using a big “A” (for Atarashi!) as a design element didn’t hurt either!
